Concernant mes grand-parents, il ne me reste plus qu’à vous présenter ma grand-mère maternelle, Marthe Lina WIEDEMANN (1919-2012), la femme de Paul REBMANN (1921-2016).
Cependant, elle a eu une vie bien plus tranquille que celle de Paul, et j’avoue n’avoir pas grand-chose de particulier à raconter.
Biographie :
Marthe Lina est née le 7 Novembre 1919 à Bischwiller, fille de Guillaume WIEDEMANN (1885-1954) et d’Emma PFISTER (1878-1949).
Il s’agit de la benjamine de la famille, et elle a deux grandes soeurs :
Hélène WIEDEMANN (1908-1999)
et
Marguerite WIEDEMANN (1912-2005)
D’aussi loin que je me souviens, mon grand-père et ses ami(e)s l’ont toujours appelée par son deuxième prénom, Lina, et je n’ai d’ailleurs compris que très tard, que pour l’état civil, il s’agissait de Marthe Lina.
Lina épouse Paul Jacques Chrétien Rebmann (1921-2016) le 10 Septembre 1949 à Bischwiller, comme en témoignent les deux photos ci-après :
Le couple aura deux filles, Marie-Madeleine née en 1950 et Christine née en 1953.
Lina a été couturière, mais je ne sais pas pendant combien de temps, car, contrairement à mon grand-père, je l’ai toujours connue « mère/grand-mère au foyer ».

Biography :
Marthe Lina was born on November 7, 1919 in Bischwiller, the daughter of Guillaume WIEDEMANN (1885-1954) and Emma PFISTER (1878-1949).
The youngest of the family, she has two older sisters:
Hélène WIEDEMANN (1908-1999)
and
Marguerite WIEDEMANN (1912-2005)
As far back as I can remember, my grandfather and his friends have always called her by her middle name, Lina, and I didn’t realize until very late on that, for civil status purposes, it was Marthe Lina.
Lina married Paul Jacques Chrétien Rebmann (1921-2016) on September 10, 1949 in Bischwiller, as shown in the two photos below:
The couple had two daughters, Marie-Madeleine born in 1950 and Christine born in 1953.
Lina was a seamstress, but I don’t know for how long, because, unlike my grandfather, I always knew her as a « stay-at-home mother/grandmother ».
